What is this I don't even.

You guys, I’m literally crying right now.
Things are all right again. I thought I’d lost something important, but I didn’t.
I can’t explain how beyond happy I am. Relieved, reassured, overjoyed. My world is all right again. It’s not a perfect world and I’m not a perfect person, but there’s so much more good than there is bad, messed-up and confusing. I know I don’t have everything straight.  But I know I have a true friend on the face of this Earth, even if we don’t agree on all of the big things. And knowing that is enough for me.

I have realized some very horrifying things.  TMI and TF2 fans, you will understand these.

1.  Loki and Magnus Bane.

2.  Mikhail and Magnus Bane.

3.  PYRO IS SEBASTIAN.

Oh, really?  We can’t, can we?  You’re right.  We can’t.  We’re not the casting directors.  And the last time I checked, they can.

I might point out that Magnus Bane is only one quarter Indonesian.  The rest of him is Dutch.  He’s not necessarily going to look completely Asian.  You think we’re “white-washing” everything by wanting Lambert as Magnus?  I’m sorry, but that sounds more racist to me than wanting Lambert on the big screen.  There’s a thing called “digital effects.”

Also:  Stage makeup.  ‘Nuff said.

Don’t diss on other people’s interpretations of characters.  He’s not just YOUR favorite character, you know.  I’m not trying to be rude, but I’m not being particularly sugary, either.  Talk like that about other people’s opinions, and they’ll talk like that about you.  So be nice.

If Adam Lambert got casted as Magnus, I would never watch that movie. We all know Shannon Kook Chun is the only person who will be acceptable as Magnus.

Can I just say “relax?”  Even if he does get casted, the whole movie doesn’t balance on ONE actor, playing a supporting role (yes, no matter how much we love Magnus, he IS a supporting character), who might even be better for the role than Shannon is.  Except we don’t know that, because we haven’t seen the movie yet, now have we?

I understand that there are some die-hard Shannon fans out there, but it’s not fair to the rest of the cast, crew and designers of the show - and to the author who wrote the inspiring series in the first place - todecide you won’t give the rest of the movie and its actors a chance just because they didn’t consult you over the casting of the minor roles.

I’m sorry, but we’re the fan base.  No one ever consults us on the casting.  Even though we think we know better, they are never going to consult us.  They’re the professionals at what they do, not us.

Even if they do cast Lambert, it’s only fair to give him a chance.  We don’t know that he wouldn’t do a better job of portraying Magnus than Shannon would.  Looks are not as important as your ability to act.  There’s a thing called digital effects.

Besides, think about it.  Magnus is probably one of the most unique-looking, sparkly, outrageously-dressed characters out there in this type of genre.  Whomever they cast, do you really think that by the time they’re done with hair, makeup and costuming, ANY actor playing Magnus would get away looking like themselves?

Calm yourselves down a little, people.

Also, yes, I do support Lambert as Magnus Bane.  I think the slight hint of maturity in his facial features do Magnus better justice than the innocent and naive aura that seems to surround Shannon’s.  But if Shannon is cast, I’m still going to support him, if only because I still love the character he’s playing.

I imagine that Magnus would be greatly offended if any of us chose not to go see him on the big screen.
